Dugan Gundelfinger (pronounced doo-gan) is an award-winning writer, director, occasional actor, and emerging musician whose work blends sharp comedic instincts with a distinctly offbeat sensibility. A Californian by birth, Gundelfinger brings equal parts swagger and sincerity to everything he makes.

His creative voice lives at the intersection of cult comedy and cinematic ambition. Whether directing ads or developing long-form projects, Dugan commits fully to the bit, grounding absurd concepts in character, performance, and emotional truth. The result is work that feels bold, strange, and unexpectedly human.

He previously wrote for the cult series Dream Corp LLC on Adult Swim, where his surreal humor and character-driven writing found a devoted audience. Alongside his film and television work.

Dugan recently won a Cannes Lion for his campaign with Silk/Havas and his short film, HEROIC DOSE was selected at the Glassgow Film Festival and made the 2025 Ciclope shortlist.

Recently, after yet another mystical experience, Dugan became one with his guitar and started making music under the name GUNDELFINGER. Building a burgeoning music career, often serenading cast and crew on set with his guitar, occasionally making everyone within earshot question their life choices.

Dugan currently resides in the Ojai Valley with his fiance, two daughters, and many psychedelic cacti.
