SHEENA BRADY

SHEENA BRADY

Sheena Brady grew up in Alaska, where in order to survive the long, dark, subzero winters, she consumed considerable amounts of age-inappropriate content, thanks to her mother's lenient video rental policy and her older brother's Far Side comic collection. Thus, developing her imagination became a survival tactic.

That imagination eventually led her to Wieden+Kennedy Portland, where she honed her acuity in advertising, becoming one of the youngest creative directors in the agency’s history. She’s had the pleasure, and dumb luck, of working on some of the world’s most iconic brands — Nike, Coca-Cola, Levi’s, GAP, Apple, Converse, Samsung. In her 7 years at W+K, Sheena wrote multiple Cannes Lion winning films. She’s even gone to the Emmys, which is far less exciting than one might think.

Her natural inclination towards filmmaking quickly became a thriving directorial career. Brady’s work delivers on her sharp sense of humor and ability to distill human feelings in an elegant, quick manner. As a director, her commercial work includes Miller High Life, Snickers, Xfinity, UberEats, Burger King, and a musical spot for Snyder’s Pretzels, starring a Country-crooning chicken playing guitar, obviously.

With no disrespect to her family, she is thankful to have “made it” and not be forced to return to Alaska to work at her grandmother’s restaurant. She is based in Brooklyn, NY, where there are mercifully more than four hours of daylight in wintertime, and now only visits Alaska in the summer. Sheena believes a good idea is a good idea. She is a Universal Blood Donor.
